The Minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) is the most abundant baleen whale, and these animals are carnivores. They use there fringed bristles to catch small planton and krill. These whales migrate and are mostly see in the Great Barrier Reef in March through October.
The Spinner Dolphins visit the outer reef. They travel in groups sometimes reaching 200 or more. They eat fish, squids and once in a while birds.
The Green Sea Turtle live in the waters just around the Great Barrier Reef. They can be best found in seaweed-rich coral reefs. These turtles live on a mix of algae, sea grasses and jelly fish.
